Standardised uptake value (SUV)
The standardised uptake value (SUV) is a number for how brightly a spot lights up on a PET scan.
Tissue radioactivity normalised to injected dose and body weight. SUVmax is the most-used metric; affected by scanner, uptake time, glucose. PERCIST criteria use SUL (lean-body) for response.
