European Association for Cancer Research
Europe's professional society for cancer researchers, running the EACR Congress and the open-access journal Molecular Oncology.
Founded in 1968 and based at the University of Nottingham, the European Association for Cancer Research is the membership society for basic, translational and clinical cancer scientists in Europe and beyond. It organises the biennial EACR Congress and a programme of focused conferences and training courses, publishes Molecular Oncology as an open-access journal with FEBS Press, awards travel fellowships and prizes for early-career researchers, and works with the AACR and other societies on global research policy and open science. It is a member of the European Cancer Organisation.
