TUM Klinikum rechts der Isar / CCC München

aka Klinikum rechts der Isar, Technical University of Munich, Comprehensive Cancer Center Munich (TUM)

Munich's technical university hospital, one half of the Comprehensive Cancer Center Munich and a leader in PSMA imaging and radiopharmaceutical chemistry.

The Klinikum rechts der Isar is the university hospital of the Technical University of Munich and, with the LMU, forms the CCC München, a German Cancer Aid Oncology Center of Excellence and DKTK partner site. Its nuclear medicine and radiopharmacy groups developed the radiohybrid PSMA ligands (rhPSMA) that became flotufolastat F-18, and run large theranostic programmes in prostate and neuroendocrine cancer. The TranslaTUM centre houses translational oncology, imaging and immunology, and the hospital has strong pancreatic surgery, haematology and gastrointestinal oncology programmes. Patients access molecular tumour boards and early-phase trials across both Munich university sites.
