Chinese PLA General Hospital

aka 301 Hospital, 解放军总医院

China's military flagship hospital, known in oncology for early CAR-T and gene-edited T-cell trials, minimally invasive liver surgery and nuclear medicine.

The Chinese PLA General Hospital, commonly called 301 Hospital, is the largest military hospital in China and a comprehensive tertiary centre in Beijing. Its Department of Bio-therapeutics under Weidong Han ran some of the earliest Chinese CAR-T and CRISPR-edited T-cell studies in lymphoma and solid tumours, and its haematology, hepatobiliary surgery (including laparoscopic and robotic hepatectomy), urology and interventional radiology departments are national leaders. The hospital has a large PET/CT and nuclear medicine service and serves as a national referral centre for complex cases from across China.
