HealthCare Global Enterprises

aka HCG, HCG Cancer Centre

India's largest private cancer hospital network, with dozens of centres across South Asia and Africa and an early lead in CyberKnife, PET-CT and molecular diagnostics.

HealthCare Global Enterprises was founded by B.S. Ajaikumar in Bengaluru and grew into the largest specialist cancer chain in India, with a network of comprehensive cancer centres across India plus units in Kenya and elsewhere in Africa. HCG introduced several technologies early to India, including CyberKnife robotic radiosurgery, hospital-based cyclotrons and PET-CT, and its Triesta Sciences and Strand Life Sciences diagnostic arms provide next-generation sequencing, liquid biopsy and molecular pathology. The group runs a sizeable clinical trials business, a bone marrow transplant network and academic training, and publishes on outcomes of cancer care in Indian private practice.
