ADCC (antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity)
In ADCC, an antibody flags a cell, and NK cells recognise the flag and kill it.
Mediated by Fc–FcγRIIIa (CD16) interaction. Enhanced by afucosylation (obinutuzumab, margetuximab, belantamab). Contributes to trastuzumab, rituximab, and cetuximab activity.
