Thomas J. Lynch Jr.
Thomas Lynch is a lung cancer oncologist who co-discovered EGFR mutations and now leads Fred Hutch.
Thoracic oncologist whose 2004 NEJM paper identified EGFR mutations as the reason some lung cancers respond to gefitinib. Previously led Yale Cancer Center and Massachusetts General Hospital's cancer centre; president of Fred Hutch since 2020.
