BCMA-directed therapy → GPRC5D-directed therapy
When a BCMA drug stops working, switching to a drug against a different myeloma protein still produces responses in about two-thirds of patients.
MonumenTAL-1 prior-T-cell-redirection cohort: ORR ~65%; antigen escape (BCMA loss via TNFRSF17 deletion) does not affect GPRC5D. Combination RedirecTT-1 (tec + tal) shows ~80% ORR including extramedullary disease.
