Ireland's national cancer charity, funding research and Cancer Trials Ireland and providing night nursing, support lines and Daffodil Centres in hospitals.

Founded in 1963, the Irish Cancer Society is Ireland's largest voluntary funder of cancer research, supporting fellowships, research scholarships and collaborative centres, and contributing to Cancer Trials Ireland, the national academic trials organisation. Its services include the Support Line, Daffodil Centres in public hospitals, free night nursing for people dying at home, and travel and financial support. Daffodil Day is its national fundraising day. The Society advocates on the National Cancer Strategy, tobacco control, alcohol labelling and access to new medicines.
