Nintedanib
An anti-angiogenic pill that looked promising in mesothelioma in a small trial but failed in the large one.
Approved for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and (EU) second-line lung adenocarcinoma with docetaxel. LUME-Meso phase 2 suggested a PFS benefit in epithelioid mesothelioma; phase 3 showed none (HR 1.01). Boehringer Ingelheim.
